As a “mom and pop” small business, we’re struggling with how we can still serve our customers and maintain the required social distancing to keep us all safe and healthy. We’re realistic enough to know that our business doesn’t really lend itself to staying apart, especially since we’re pretty hands on with helping folks find the jacket, helmet, boots, or chaps that fit them right and will be their go-to for years. Not to mention laying out patches collaboratively to ensure that a vest suits the personality of its wearer.
For the last couple of weeks, our store has become our workshop, and while we are here, having to ignore customers who come to the door has been stressful for us both. We truly WANT to open the door and welcome you in, but the price for that may be higher than any of us is willing to pay. Since Julie is in a high risk group (asthmatic), we have both been extra cautious about possible exposure.
Our best workaround right now is to offer online payment via PayPal (no account required) with either curbside pickup or delivery to your home via USPS, on items we currently have in the store. We’re posting some items that don’t have sizes via our social channels (Instagram and Facebook), but if you’ve got an item that you’ve had your eye on and want to talk measurements, we can work with you on that as well.
